What if my books aren't clean?
We spend the first 30-60 days of our engagement getting your business "book-ready." We don't go back and fix every possible transaction because that would be cost-prohibitive. Instead, we focus on the following five tasks to get you started quickly and affordably. Those five tasks are:

- Convert to one of our three optimized chart of accounts for optimized reporting.
- Create a one-time balance sheet entry that ties all statement accounts to last month's statements, and for all other accounts, ties to an approved amount by the client. This one entry will be documented and signed by the client. In this step, we will also create a prepaid schedule.
- Reconcile revenue to your third-party invoicing system, or if you use QuickBooks, provide a review of receivables.
- Tie payroll to year-to-date reports with a single journal entry.
- Review of accounts payable.
What if I'm not in QuickBooks or Xero, but I want you to help convert me?
We're happy to help with conversions and do it all the time. The cost is included in your first month's fee.
Can I customize any of the accounting packages you offer?
The short answer is no—and here's why. We've built a system to deliver on-time invoicing, payments, and analytical reports for our clients. We are rated 4.8 out of 5 stars on Google because our system works.
How is my monthly fee calculated?
We charge a small percentage of your annual revenue motivating us to help you grow. As your business gets bigger, the workload increases. Your monthly fee will go up or down depending on your growth.
Please note that our fees do not include monthly software costs that you may incur through tools such as QuickBooks or Bill.
What should I pay for bookkeeping services?
Most bookkeepers charge between $20 and $50 an hour for their services, and you shouldn’t pay more. Our packages let you pay semi-monthly, weekly, or semi-weekly, with prices starting at an average of $1,750 a month. We make sure the cost of your online accounting services meets your needs.
How long does it take to set up online accounting services?
Depending on your current bookkeeping situation, it could take as little as two weeks to set up your online bookkeeping services. If your records aren’t current, our accountants will need to organize them before we can take over any day-to-day management.
How does a virtual bookkeeper work?
It’s easy! You’ll communicate with us remotely, and our online accounting services take care of your finances, providing regular reports along the way.
What is the best online accounting software?
We have a few favorites, but we use QuickBooks as our primary financial platform in tandem with tools such as Bill.com, TSheets, and Gusto to automate your company for greater efficiency.
How do we get our documents to Ignite Spot?
There are several ways to send documents to us. We use Google Drive and Dext to make things easy for you.
How do I access my accounting software?
Don’t sweat it. You’ll have access to your Ignite Spot financial platform online.
Do your bookkeeping services have setup fees?
If your records are current, there’s no fee. For more disorganized cases just starting out with our online bookkeeping services, we’ll help you get up to date for a one-time fee. We’ve helped countless businesses and will do the same for you!
Do you require contracts?
We do not lock our clients into long-term contracts. We have to earn your business every month in order to sustain a long-lasting relationship. Should you decide to disengage, all we ask is that you provide us with a 30-day written notice in order to allow us the proper time to hand off your books to a new solution.
When am I billed each month
We bill in advance on the first of each month apart from your initial deposit.

Will I be locked into a contract?
Most of our clients don’t enter into a contract with us. If your books are behind, we may propose a contract to get them in order, but almost all of our clients work with us on a month-to-month basis.

We do not offer income tax services. This service is best provided by someone specialized in your state. However, we will work with your CPA and provide them necessary documentation throughout the year. We do, however, offer sales tax services to our clients via our partnership with a third-party solution.
